TRAINING ADVISORY COUNCIL

The Training Advisory Council (TAC) leads the skill-building initiatives at World Finer Foods.

With at least one representative from each of our functions, this group comes together to plan a yearly calendar of classes designed to help all members of the organization develop their general business skills.

Each member of this group has the opportunity to lead the coordination of at least one course, developing the material with qualified instructors, for a total of at least 15 classes offered yearly. TAC has been a coveted benefit to the colleagues of World Finer Foods for years and has acted as an outlet for members to showcase their leadership and project management skills regardless of role level.

F.U.N. COMMITTEE

The FUN Committee is a vital contributor of culture and community building at World Finer Foods.

This group of employees goes beyond the scope of their daily responsibilities to regularly plan gatherings to bring the people of our company together. Over the past few years, this committee has put on exciting events such as holiday parties, friendly competitions, brand-sponsored functions like 2022’s Juneteenth Celebration, and even a Murder Mystery Dinner that brought together both our headquarters and regional employees during our 2022 sales and marketing convention.

SUMMER INTERNSHIP ADMINISTRATION

World Finer Foods welcomes college students each year to participate in a 10-week summer internship program, lead by some of our most attentive colleagues in the Summer Internship Administration.

These contributors act as mentors to our interns as they complete the program. They set up functional overviews, information sessions, and classes to support the interns’ learning process over the summer, as well as advise them in the development of their final summer project: a departmental presentation delivered to the company and executive leadership team.

NEW-HIRE ON-BOARDING COMMITTEE

The New Hire On-Boarding Committee is our newest group, made up of experienced colleagues dedicated to setting up our freshly acquired talent with a smooth transition into a long, happy career at World Finer Foods.

The committee works to establish and oversee a standardized on-boarding process to ensure a consistent and comprehensive introduction period for all greenhorn team members. They work to provide each department and manager with a wealth of resources, empowering them to best welcome and train new hires.

BRIGHT SIGNS ADMINISTRATION

Following the recent renovation of our Bloomfield, NJ headquarters, the Bright Signs Administration was created to leverage the new technology in our office for employee recognition and event support.

This group takes on additional project management responsibilities to commemorate work anniversaries, new hires, and employee promotions through graphic design elements, as well as creates presentations to accompany significant business events and brand visits.
