Feeding those in need, at home and around the world.

As one of the nation’s leading food companies, we recognize the tremendous and urgent need at home and abroad for individuals and families to have good, nutritious food every day. We are pleased to work regularly with organizations whose missions align closely with these values.

At home: Table to Table

Table to Table is a community-based food rescue program that collects prepared and perishable food that would otherwise be wasted and delivers it to organizations that serve the hungry in Bergen, Essex, Hudson and Passaic counties in New Jersey. 1.2 million people in New Jersey are hungry, including 1 in 5 children. World Finer Foods supports Table to Table by participating in its Bag A Lunch, Help a Bunch fundraiser – both assembling donation bags and offering the chance for employees to contribute to the fundraiser with a matching donation from the company. WFF also donates product that is included in gift bags for fundraising events. In 2017, WFF is also planning a series of “Casual for a Cause” dress-down days to raise additional funds for the organization, as well as sending employee teams to assist with the mobile farmer’s market in Newark in the Spring/Summer.

Around the world: Operation Blessing

Operation Blessing International (OBI) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) humanitarian organization alleviating human need and suffering in the United States and around the world. One of the largest charities in America, Operation Blessing provides strategic relief in 39 countries on an ongoing basis through core programs such as disaster relief, health and medical care, hunger relief, vulnerable children and orphan care, safe water and community development. World Finer Foods has donated tens of thousands of cases of products over the past several years to OBI’s global relief efforts. As we benefit from bringing the food and flavors from around the globe to our customers, it seems only fitting that we give back to those in need worldwide.
