1 deSIAM Pad Thai Kit

8-10 fresh, medium-sized shrimp - cleaned and deveined OR 1 cup of diced chicken

1 egg

1 lime

2 tbsp. vegetable oil

1 bunch bean sprouts (for garnish)

1 bunch cilantro (for garnish)

  1. Bring a large pot of water to boil.

  2. Boil rice noodles for 5-8 minutes until slightly soft.

  3. Drain noodles and set aside.

  4. Heat 2 tbsp. vegetable oil in pan until very hot.

  5. Stir-fry shrimp.

  6. Add 1 egg.

  7. Stir well until cooked.

  8. Add rice noodles and stir.

  9. Add Pad Thai sauce.

  10. Stir-fry for 5 minutes.

  11. Plate noodles with shrimp on top.

  12. Garnish with lime wedges, beansprouts and cilantro (otherwise known as coriander leaves).
