1 deSIAM Pad Thai Kit
8-10 fresh, medium-sized shrimp - cleaned and deveined OR 1 cup of diced chicken
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 bunch bean sprouts (for garnish)
1 bunch cilantro (for garnish)
Bring a large pot of water to boil.
Boil rice noodles for 5-8 minutes until slightly soft.
Drain noodles and set aside.
Heat 2 tbsp. vegetable oil in pan until very hot.
Add 1 egg.
Stir well until cooked.
Add rice noodles and stir.
Add Pad Thai sauce.
Stir-fry for 5 minutes.
Plate noodles with shrimp on top.
Garnish with lime wedges, beansprouts and cilantro (otherwise known as coriander leaves).
