Wine Country Grill Steak Sauce

1 bottle Sonoma County Zinfandel or other dry red wine



½ cup red wine vinegar

½ cup reduced sodium soy sauce

½ cup Bonne Maman Raspberry Preserves

½ cup chopped fresh rosemary

2 Tablespoons finely minced fresh ginger

4 cloves finely minced garlic

½ teaspoon freshly ground red peppercorns

  1. Mix all of the ingredients in a non-reactive sauces pan and boil until reduced to about 1 ½ cups.

  2. Marinate steak for about one hour with reduction sauce reserving remainder to heat as sauce to serve with finish grilled meat.
